Water Network upgrade project on 250mm AC watermain on one of Queenstown's busiest roads. The project was the first part of a three part project to optimise the Queenstown water network and facilitate a change in how Frankton is supplied with potable water. The project involved the installation of a slow closing Non Return Valve with a 200mm bypass line around the valve fitted with a Pressure Sustaining Valve. A 250mm electromagnetic flowmeter was also to be installed to allow for remote flow monitoring along with watermain.
